Start your fashion-focused trip in the old town of Copenhagen. Street style locations you might have seen in Copenhagen Fashion Week coverage include Amagertorv, which is probably the most iconic place to see and be seen in Copenhagen.

Things you need to know before you hit Copenhagen’s catwalk-like streets:

1. Wear sneakers, not heels. Well, it is of course up to you what you wear, but you should know that the city’s cobbled streets and cycling culture are much better suited to flat shoes overall.

2. There’s a saying that goes – if it ain’t black, put it back. You could apply that to Danish fashion most of the year, outside the spring/summer season.
